2010-11 Carnivals

This season, NLASC has been participating in carnivals all over the peninsula and are really happy with our wee clubs achievements. We have it on high authority that we are also the noisiest club and they certainly know when our swimmers are in the water.

Jenny Oates Championship - 12th Feb

Once again NLASC had a successful and fun event. Congratulations to Rebecca Bourcier and Geoff Newton both winning 15yrs and over age champions!!!!!! Thank you to all members who attended!

We were very proud because we are the smallest club to participate in these events and we always do well. There were 7 other clubs competing: Freshwater Asc, Warringah Aquatic Swim Club, Avalon Bilgola Asc, Terrey Hills Swim Club, Manly Jetz Swim Club, Manly SC, and Curl Curl Asc. We came 6th overall.

WASA organised an amazing carnival and swiftly made it through 67 races. Thank you very much to WASA for a terrific evening.

Narrabeen Amateur Swimming Club Rockpool Relay - 14th Jan

On a rather brisk Friday eve, 14th January, NLASC entered a team in the NASC rockpool replay. Its a 3 way meet - organised by Narrabeen Amateur Swimming Club. Each team consists of 10 swimmers and we always enjoy entering this annual rellay challenge.

Results: NLASC 7th out of 11 teams overall.

Many thanks to NASC for organising.
