Swimming NSW Rules

Just a reminder about our Championship Day this Saturday (19th Feb) with the earlier start time of 1pm, sign in before 12.45pm.

Any additional people that can assist with timekeeping would be much appreciated.

Our club follows the rules of NSW Swimming, I have attached a summary of the rules relating to the various strokes for reference.

Important points to note are:

  • In Breaststroke and Butterfly, all touchs of the wall/rope need to be with both hands
  • In Butterfly, a Breaststroke kick is not permitted
  • In Backstroke, you must remain on your back throughout the race
